Hamburgs erste Tatar-Bar gehört zum Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg City.
We had reserved a table for 2 people online in July over a week ago, it was also confirmed. The confirmation was canceled online today. Something like this can always happen ... but ... you can also give a reason when canceling. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Not very customer friendly!
A lot to see in a nice market atmosphere and open kitchens. There is an extra tartar bar. We had different variations of the starter and were thrilled with the variety. My favorite was beef tartare with quince and parmesan. The tomahawk steak in the main course was sensational.
Thanks to Arne and Nora for the incredibly delicious evening! From Tatar to Tomahawk to dessert everything was convincing. The new restaurant has an incredibly beautiful interior and the menu leaves nothing to be desired. The own Tatar bar was particularly good. Thanks to Kischan's excellent wine recommendation, the evening was perfect for us. We're looking forward to next time!
We were very disappointed. The service is totally headless, you are not greeted properly, the jackets are not taken from you and there is no table plan. You can sit wherever you want. The food was underground. Bread beforehand is only available on request and then it is completely rock hard. Burger dry and burned, soup very tasteless. All in all, I wouldn't call it a restaurant, but rather a bar with mediocre food. It's a shame.
Unfortunately we were disappointed, not because of the food, but because of the service. We were there for New Year's Eve to enjoy the offered 3-course menu. We order a bottle of water at the beginning. We wanted to wait with the wine until after the included sparkling wine. After 20 minutes the bottle of water came! We also asked about accompanying the wine to the aisles. Yes, soon. The lady said. You might think there was a lot going on? Not at this point! The tables were occupied 50%. The waitress also had plenty of time to talk to colleagues. When the bottle came, we asked about the sparkling wine. It was on the way, it came back somewhat blunt. The sparkling wine came after another 15 minutes. The soup a moment later. Okay, no wine for the first course. The soup was excellent, albeit without parsnip chips. In the further course it took a very long time to be covered. We still at the water. Another waitress slammed a selection of wines onto the table. 6 bottles of white wine. We chose roast beef in the main course. Okay, then we'll take white wine. The wine was delicious, if overpriced. € 11.50 for a glass, but are a bit ambitious for what is on offer. Then the main course came. Excellent taste. Nicely done. Kudos to the kitchen. The meat was perfect, the side dishes excellent. The dessert was also very good at the end. Under the prank: Our assigned space was in the spotlight and very bright. The light could only be dimmed in the course of the evening. You smell very strongly of kitchen, is the disadvantage of an open kitchen concept. And an overwhelmed ventilation system. Our candle on the square was out and was not lit all evening. Too bad, a little thing, but nobody felt called, despite the tip. The service, underground! For real. Who on earth got the staff on board? Despite the very good food, I am unable to give a better rating.
Nice shop, great food, unfortunately strong smell from the kitchen, service unfortunately very inattentive and overwhelmed. (Restaurant was not full). The great lady who served us on the last visit was unfortunately not there, she had such an infectious laugh.
Wonderful food just great, highly recommended the Tomahawk maybe eat two or three. Really awesome, we would love to come back.
Total goods with 4 people here, from starter to main course to the dessert it all tasted excellent. Great also, the Störtebecker beer is on the menu. Price-performance is very convincing and the staff is absolutely up to par. Top and highly recommended.
Great ambience, very friendly and courteous service and good food. What we would wish for would be a small salad for a burger. Otherwise to be recommended all around!
Great service and first class cuisine. Especially the tartare and the steaks are absolutely recommendable. Great value for money
Great food. Not too expensive for a hotel restaurant. Great staff.
